Who We Serve

The Federal Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing, both public and private, on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, and disability. Local ordinances may provide additional protections, which you can find listed on our Fair Housing Law page. Find definitions, examples, resources, relevant cases, and more on the page for each protected class.

April is the 58th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, and we are holding a special fundraiser.

Please donate now to help us continue enforcing this important law and upholding the housing rights of all people.

Everyone deserves a place to call home, free from discrimination.
