From the Michigan Department of Civil Rights:

According to a Press Release just issued, on October 12, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission unanimously passed a resolution condemning the conduct of Asst. Attorney General Andrew Shirvell. This individual has been targeting Christopher Armstrong, a University of Michigan student.
“The Commission believes such conduct should not be tolerated from anyone, let alone a public official responsible for representing all people equally. The Commission is also concerned about the scope and nature of the involvement of this individual in the execution of the work of the Office of the Attorney General,” states an excerpt from the resolution.
