Thank you to all attendees, donors, and sponsors of our 13th Annual Fair Housing Breakfast. Together, we raised over $41,500 for civil rights education and enforcement. Funds raised at this event go directly toward ending housing discrimination and expanding equal housing opportunities.
We’re grateful to our guest, Laura Arce, Senior Vice President for Economic Initiatives at UnidosUS, for a thoughtful conversation on Hispanic homeownership, fair housing, and current trends. We were also honored to welcome special guests the Honorable S. Kerene Moore and State Senator Jeff Irwin.
Special thanks to Mark Mitshkun Board of Directors awardee Jim Schaafsma, whose decades of advancing protections for tenants and training advocates and attorneys across Michigan have strengthened fair housing for communities statewide.
