In celebration of Fair Housing Month, the FHC-SE has compiled the following young adult books (for children’s books please see our previous post). The Federal Fair Housing Act protects against discrimination in housing based on race, color, national origin, disability, familial status, religion, and sex.

Thank you to the Interfaith Housing Center of the Northern Suburbs for many of these titles. If you have a book to suggest, please comment on our post.

April is the 58th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, and we are holding a special fundraiser.

Please donate now to help us continue enforcing this important law and upholding the housing rights of all people.

Everyone deserves a place to call home, free from discrimination.
